WHAT CAN I DO IF MY LAPTOP WON'T START? -

On some occasions it can happen that our laptop has gone black and does not start . I do not mean when the computer turns on, but the operating system does not boot. In such a case, the problem is most of the time in the OS, unless there is a problem with the hard disk.

What happens when nothing appears on our computer and it seems that it is directly dead? Is it fixed or is it definitely out of order? We are going to have some basic things to do to test our laptop.

What can I do if my laptop won't turn on

As I say, sometimes it is not the laptop that fails and it is a matter of looking at it. But in cases where the laptop is not working, there are a few things that can be done before going to get your laptop repaired.

1. Check that your laptop does not turn on.

The first thing you should always do is make sure of what happens. Sometimes we panic because we have to work and the computer seems broken, but we must be cautious. There are some basic questions we duty ask ourselves.

A) Is the power cord turned on, yes or no? You can check this by seeing if the transformer light is on. The cable may make poor contact, or it may turn on and off, in which case it is the cable that is not working.

 B) In case you are using the laptop without plugging it in, you have to check the battery. Is the battery installed? Is it loaded? Connect your laptop to the power cord to recharge it, if not, wait a few seconds and press on.

C) Is the battery damaged? In the event that your battery is damaged and does not charge, you will not be able to use the laptop independently. When this happens to you, before buying a laptop, connect your computer to the power to check it. If it works, the battery has a problem and needs to be replaced or repaired.

2. Check for hardware problems

We have already verified that it is not a wiring or power problem. Are lights on on the PC? Do you see that the fan is working? The current comes. We deduce then that the problem is in the internal components of the laptop: the RAM memory is not well placed, or there has been a short circuit, or the processor does not make good contact with the motherboard.

In such a case, it is continually advisable to open the laptop and try to fix the problem from within. In this article we explain how to open the computer, and incidentally, how you can clean it.
